Interseroh, an ALBA Group company, is one of the market’s leading providers of environmental services for closing the product, material or logistics loop. Following our guiding principle of ‘zero waste solutions’, we advise our customers across Europe on the responsible handling of resources to help them improve their sustainability performance and conserve primary resources. At Interseroh, we offer a full range of services for the efficient recycling of plastic packaging: from advising customers on determining the recyclability of their packaging with the “Made for Recycling” service and its licensing through to high-tech sorting followed by the production of innovative recycling plastics.

The “PackTheFuture – Sustainable Plastic Packaging Award 2020” offers an outstanding platform for the further development of our commitment to sustainable – and therefore recyclable – plastic packaging. We look forward to presenting the award to packaging that is innovative and optimised for recycling, and which therefore sets a good example of the circular economy in practice. For our environment and a world without waste. Interseroh is represented by Managing Director Markus Müller-Drexel, who will be a member of the jury that selects the winners. He will also be awarding the Eco Design prize in person. Visit www.interseroh.de/en for more information

Bruckner-Group-GmbHThe Brückner Group in Siegsdorf in Upper Bavaria is a medium-sized, family-owned group of companies. As a worldwide operating partner of the plastics and packaging industry, the individual members develop, project, design and manufacture special machines as well as complete production plants and offer wide-ranging services. Brückner Maschinenbau, Brückner Servtec, Kiefel and PackSys Global are market and technology leaders in their respective business fields. The group has around 2,600 employees at 29 locations worldwide and is managed by the strategic management holding Brückner Group GmbH.

The Brückner Group is aware of its responsibility towards the environment and sustainability. All member companies are therefore working to ensure that films and packaging can be produced on their machines with the lowest possible use of resources and the highest possible recyclability. In addition, the “Yes, we care” initiative was launched in 2017: the project is a commitment to our own responsibility when it comes to plastics and sustainability. Together, all the companies in the Group want to develop visions, drive innovation and contribute solutions. A partnership with the “PackTheFuture – Sustainable Plastic Packaging Award” fits perfectly into this strategy.

Citeo was cLogo_Citeoreated by companies to reduce the environmental impact of their packaging and paper by transforming them into resources. Through its subsidiary Adelphe, Citeo provides advice and solutions to its customers – companies in industry, commerce, distribution and consumer services – to help them exercise their responsibility related to the end of life of packaging and paper, under optimal economic conditions.

In 25 years, companies have invested more than 9.5 billion to finance selective collection and create recycling channels, with their partners local authorities, sectors and operators. Today, 70% of packaging and 59% of paper are recycled thanks to the sorting of French people.

Acting to bring about a real resource economy in France, Citeo has set itself 3 priorities: simplifying the sorting process to enable all French people to sort all their packaging and paper by 2022; innovating to invent new materials, recycling technologies, collection solutions and outlets; and reducing the environmental impact of packaging and paper by supporting companies in the widespread use of eco-design.
